After pouring over, I absolutely loved the taste. I add cream and sugar to my coffee and it was delicious! I really love the oak, chocolate and honey used for this blend. One tip I will give you is that as you are pouring your water into the coffee, I would recommend holding the sides to the cup. I didn’t and the whole thing plopped into the cup. Had a little clean up to do, but now I know what I doing for the second cup to be even more successful.

Last month, I was able to try Kopi Luwak – Ground Coffee for the first time. Well this month, Daily Goodie Box sent some more. So I am going to try it again. Things taste different on different days, and I am open to trying again… with a little more of an open mind.

I had never heard of Kopi Luwak until receiving my Daily Goodie Box . I love coffee, so I was super excited to try. Well, I didn’t realize how the beans were “gathered”. I do have to say, it kinda weirded me out a little. A living tree creature, The Asian Palm Civet, apparently selects the beans and after they pass through the little creature (whole), the beans are cleaned and roasted.
Luckily, I tried the coffee before I read everything. The coffee did taste pretty good. I guess the story of how it is made just made me a little nervous.

Coffee lover here! When Daily Goodie Box included a can of Rise Nitro Cold Brew Coffee in this months box, I knew I was in for a treat. In a previous box, I was able to test the Classic Latte and loved it!
This is the second product I have been able to try from Rise. This Oat Milk Latte was quite tasty. I could really taste the oat. It went down smoothly. Very low acidity. I would love to drink this coffee again (and again).

I was on Instagram and stumbled upon Crema Co. I am a big coffee fan and thought this might be a fun subscription box.
In this box, there is a Light, Medium and Dark Roast. I like all three roasts for different times of the day, so having all three in one box is a great idea!
I’m starting with the dark roast. On the bag, it noted Buttered Toast, Brown Sugar and Nutmeg. When I first opened the bag, I instantly smelled the buttery sugar smell. Added some beans to the grinder, got the coffee maker ready and hit brew. Went to take a shower while brewing and could smell it in the shower. Oh so good.
Once done, I added my cream and sugar. The first sip was delicious. It’s different than the Sumatra I typically drink. I like the flavors in it but it’s not really a flavored coffee… which is great! I like coffee flavored coffee.

Next, I tried the Medium Roast. The bag noted flavors of Plum, Chocolate and Caramel. I don’t taste much of the plum but definitely the chocolate and caramel. It reminds me of the See’s Candies Lollipops. It is really quite tasty. I see myself drinking this more at night after dinner.

And finally to the Light Roast. I enjoyed this one as well but if I were ranking, this would be third of the three tasted. I really taste the molasses in this roast. But not as sweet, for me, when doctored up with my cream and sugar. But it is still very good.

For a while now, I’ve been searching for another dark roast coffee that I love as much as the Starbucks Sumatra. Until today, I had not found that coffee. I’ve had a k cup sample of this Folgers 1850 in my kcup drawer for a while and finally decided to make it. I didn’t feel like making a whole pot or even more than just a cup. It was one of those 8pm coffee cravings. Ever get those? Well, I am so glad I did. I don’t think I had realized that Folgers 1850 was a dark roast, otherwise I would have tried it sooner.
I’m a cream and sugar gal, so when I stirred up my cup of Joe, it smelled perfect. I couldn’t wait to take my first sip. When it cooled down and was ready, so was I. Damn! I may like this coffee MORE than the Sumatra I drink every day. It seemed a tad less bitter, and a bit smoother. I truly can not believe how much I love this coffee. Just wish I had more for the morning and to share with my husband. He loves Sumatra as well, but just drinks it black. I bet he would really enjoy Folgers 1850 as much as I did.
I love coffee and I am always down to try a new cup of Joe. This month, Daily Goodie Box included a can of Nitro Cold Brew Coffee Classic Latte.
I make my own cold brew, once in a while… the long way. But I have been seeing some single servers popping up in stores and online. And I definitely want to try what’s out there.
This Classic Latte is absolutely delicious!!! It is naturally sweet and it tasted just perfect to me. I wish I had a case of this stuff. I really hope to be able to try the other flavors that Rise carries. SO GOOD!

Let’s start by saying I’m a coffee lover and so is my husband. Usually, we make coffee on the go, so it’s pretty hot. I had seen a pin on Pinterest a while back about coffee cubes. Since my husband started his new job, and my son is now in kindergarten to help make mornings easier I make coffee cubes quite often these days.
I was using an ice tray before, but this time I wanted to have a little fun. I poured some leftover morning coffee into these heart shaped silicone bakeware. I wanted to do something a little bigger than a small ice cubes that I was making, and sometimes it just looks a little nicer while it sits in the freezer.
By using coffee cubes, my husband is enjoying his coffee way quicker these days. It doesn’t water it down like regular ice cubes do.

I am a huge coffee drinker. So I am always up for trying any sort of new coffee. This month, Daily Goodie Box sent a couple of samples of Twin Peaks Coffee – Pour Over Coffee. This is my second time trying a pour over coffee. My first experience was pretty great. This one was just about the same.
The coffee smelled amazing when I opened up the package. I slowly poured the HOT water into the open pouch and my coffee started brewing. It had a really great taste. This is perfect for traveling or when you’re on-the-go. I’m going to save the other one for my husband to try maybe at work someday.
