Vegan Protein Cookies (@DailyGoodieBox #FreeSamples @cbdfx)

Lately, I have been very into CBD and exploring all the different ways to enjoy it. I had never tried a CBD cookie, before it arrived in my Daily Goodie Box . But this cookie is also a vegan cookie, from CBDfx . So I am wondering how much that will factor in to the taste.

After tasting, I was not a fan of this cookie. At all. Unfortunately, it smelled and tasted like play-doh. Just to make sure I wasn’t crazy, I asked my husband and son their opinions. They said the same thing. I was really hoping this was gonna rock! Just not for me.

ShiKai CBD Cream with Menthol ~ @DailyGoodieBox #FreeSamples

I was able to try another lotion from ShiKai before, thanks to Daily Goodie Box. While the lotion was nice, the CBD aspect didn’t really do much for me. My chronic pain is too much for CBD to help, it seems. I did pass it off to my mom, who has been using CBD more often for her arthritis.

This lotion is CBD with menthol. After using, I definitely feel the cooling effect. Not too overwhelming. I absolutely smell the menthol. At first, it seemed overkill, but my nose quickly got used to it. It is a sweeter menthol, not as harsh as a typical menthol. It didn’t really help my pain, but again, I will pass this on to my mom whose pain level is much lower than mine.

ShiKai – CBD Body Lotion ~ @DailyGoodieBox #FreeSamples

When it comes to CBD, I am still fairly new. I have tried a few products here and there. I have only found one product that really works for my pain. I was super intrigued when I saw Daily Goodie Box was sending ShiKai CBD Body Lotion to test out this month. I have not found a good CBD lotion, yet, so I am trying not to get my hopes up to high in regards to this working or relieving pain.

After testing, I haven’t felt much of a difference. In all fairness, the ONLY CBD product that I have found that works is a salve. So this lotion may absolutely work for someone with less chronic issues.

Green Roads CBD Relax Bears ~ @DailyGoodieBox #FreeSamples #CBD

I am still relatively new to the CBD world. But I am always looking for any product that will help relieve any ounce of my pain.

This month, Daily Goodie Box included a couple of samples of CBD Relax Bears from Green Roads . I have been wanting to try some relaxing gummies and these came at the perfect time.

Each package comes with 5 gummies, for a total of 50mg CBD (10mg each). Each bear is a different color and flavor. Each tasting pretty good. I did notice on the front of my package that it says MILD. And I agree, I didn’t feel much of a difference. With my chronic pain, I need a much higher dosage to relax.

I browsed Green Roads website and saw that they have a ton of different products and there are some gummies that are a higher dose. I would definitely be interested in trying a stronger option. I’m also wanting to try the topicals and coffee! Yes, please!

43CBDSOLUTIONS to learn more!

CBD is tricky to find a product that works, atleast for someone like me, with Fibromyalgia and hEDS. I have tried a couple of different products in the past, but still don’t know too much.

I contacted 43CBDSOLUTIONS about trying some of their products. They were kind enough to send me a few samples.

As far as the CBD oil, I am not finding that it works for me (yet). I know that CBD needs to build up in your system for it to work, but with my Fibromyalgia and hEDS, there isn’t much that helps the pain, overall. If that changes, I will update this blog. I will say that the peppermint tasted way better than the other brand that I had tried before.

I am super excited that I did find something that does work. I absolutely love both of the salves. I have been having a lot of pain in my hands, especially my right thumb. As soon as I feel it starting to hurt, I rub some of the salve on and with in minutes, I am getting relief.

I haven’t decided which salve I like better. Truly, I love them both.

I would love to do a post on a #CBD “Pain Pack” but I haven’t really tried many products yet. What would you put in yours?

Don’t know enough about CBD products to build a “Pain Pack” yet but I would love to. Once I am able to try some creams, edibles, oils… I’ll put together a “go to” kit for when we have flare ups.

I want to try anything CBD related:

Coffee

Tea

water

Edibles

Oils

Creams

Bath bombs

Anything I don’t even know about yet…

I am in pain on a daily basis and I have only started dipping my toe in the CBD world. I am convinced I will find my products one of the days.

Trying to find the right combination to the path of relief. ( Ehlers-danlos / Fibromyalgia) #ZebraChat #AZebrasLife

Happy Sunday, Everyone. I hope you’re surviving the heat, wherever you are. It’s another hot one here in St. Louis. Is anyone else ready for fall? I know I am. And so is my aching body.

My pain level seems to rise in extreme weather. If it’s really hot & humid or super cold, I am hurting (more than usual). I woke up drenched from the night sweats. Both arms were hurting, with my right arm & fingers swollen, again. Every time I move (seriously, every time) something pops or shifts. Random places all over. It’s crazy and quite annoying at times.

I wrote yesterday about starting CBD recently. Now, I haven’t felt much difference yet overall. But I am noticing a slight change in my sleeping. I have some drops that I take for night time. It doesn’t seem to make me sleepy as fast as I would hope. I seem to be staying up later, for some reason. Like til 1:30-2:00am. I am not liking this part of it at all. But I don’t know if that’s related to CBD or if it’s an episode stemming from my EDS / Fibromyalgia.

One thing I am noticing is that I am not waking as much as I was. Instead of every 30-45 minutes changing positions, it’s more like every hour to hour and a half.

In the morning, I am exhausted. I am sleeping later than I am used to. Which is nice on the weekends, but torture during the week. I don’t know if I need to adjust the time I take the night time drops or the amount of drops. But I feel like I am more fatigued in the mornings and earlier in the afternoon.

This life is a balancing act. Find the right meds. Try to eat healthy. Exercise when and how you are able. And sometimes you just have to rest. Know your limits and take care of you.

I just need to stay positive and keep working on balancing this all out. I hope to find the right combination to the path of relief.

If you have any suggestions or recommendations… I am all ears.

New to CBD and not sure where to start ~ #CBD

It has been a rough couple of weeks. Switching Medications. A lot of pain. Very little sleep each night. And today, woke up with a dislocated shoulder, pain down my arm and swollen fingers. The weather isn’t helping the situation either. The heat index was 108 degrees here today. Just awful.

I am trying to find anything that works to help with sleeping. To help easy the pain everyday. Just to help me make it through the day. I have a little one, and I find myself with little energy to entertain him over the summer.

Recently, I started trying some CBD products. I have some drops. A hemp coffee. Some hemp gummies. Plus, I am still constantly doing research to find which products are the best. I don’t know much about CBD, but I am hearing wonderful things. People with chronic pain feeling more alive and energized.

I need recommendations. If you have tried CBD, what are your favorite brands and products? What was your experience? I would love to try anything that would give me some relief and/or to be able to sleep at night.

I have been hearing and reading a lot lately on CBD products. Most of the chatter is how CBD has changed their life. Depending on the product, it can help relieve pain, lessen anxiety, help ones sleep, plus so many more benefits. So since my pain and discomfort is in overload right now, I need some sort of relief without turning to prescribed pain medication. I know some may think I am crazy, suffering from EDS – Hypermobility, Fibromyalgia and Endometriosis, and not being on medication. But a lot of the meds just make me more tired or out of it. I don’t need help with fatigue or brain fog.

It’s time to try something new. So I did some research and purchased my first two CBD products. Some gummies and some hemp coffee. Even my mother’s friends are drinking CBD or Hemp coffee and raving about how they feeling young again with little to no pain. My goodness, I would love to feel that way. And I love coffee, so bring it on. I want to try as many brands as I can, so I know which brew works the best for me. My mom said she would start drinking coffee again, if it really does help. I reached out to a few companies on Instagram but no one responded. I decided to get on to Amazon and start reading reviews, and just pick one. You have to start somewhere.

I landed on Elev8Hemp Dark Roast. I wanted to try something that would be close to my regular morning coffee (Starbucks – Sumatra, with cream & sugar). This roast tasted very close and was absolutely delicious. While this is my first CBD/Hemp coffee, I am not sure exactly what to expect. I do feel a little more relaxed, but that could be because I am upstairs blogging while my husband entertains our five year old. I will definitely continue drinking to see if I can tell more of a difference or if its helping relieve anything. I’ll keep you all updated on any other CBD products I try.

@DrinkSprig is exactly what I need to help me relax at night with my #Chronic Pain ~ #DailyGoodieBox

As you may know, I have been living with Ehlers Danlos Type 3 (Hypermobility ~ hEDS) for years now. Chronic Pain, fatigue, dislocations are just a few of the symptoms I deal with on a daily basis. So I am always looking for new products that may help make life a little more tolerable pain wise.

This was my second can of Sprig that I have tried. Same flavor as before but enjoyed it just as much as the first time. I just feel a sense of calm after drinking. I have said this in my lost post about Sprig but I should say it again… This product does NOT get you high. That’s not what this is about.

I still don’t have a lot of experience with CBD oil yet but places are popping up all over St. Louis these days, so it will only be a matter of time until I can share more experiences on what works and what doesn’t in the near future.
