“My Morning Coffee” Popsicles

I have been trying to come up with new ways to beat the heat lately and popsicles seem like a good place to start. I wanted to try something different. Not fruity. Somehow, I landed on coffee. We had some left over from our morning pot, so I heated up a cup, added my cream and sugar, then poured them into popsicle molds. After 4 hours in the freezer, these lovely things were ready.

I was surprised with how tasty there were. It was just like my morning coffee but frozen. I love the taste of coffee but sometimes it is just too warm outside to drink hot coffee, but frozen?!? Yes, please.

I’m sure this would be great with any of the flavored coffees, too.

Hope you enjoy it as much as I did! I have some new coffee popsicles freezing now.

Have you tried Bob’s Pickle Pops? I just did and I am loving it!

A few weeks back, I was sent a competitors brand in my Daily Goodie Box. I was so excited to try it, but it was incredibly “powerful”. And by that, it was very vinegar-y and a little too much. I loved the idea, I just wasn’t totally sold on this product.

I was contacted by Bob’s Pickle Pops and they wanted to send me some to try for my honest feedback. Of course I jumped on the chance to try a different version of this new craze.

I am so glad Bobs Pickle Pops reaches out because these are delicious. Not overpowering at all. Just perfect. I couldn’t put the pop down. It’s 98 here in St. Louis today and this was the perfect treat to help me cool down.

I also wanted to share this with anyone who is pregnant and may have those pickle cravings. Pickle juice and it’s frozen! This is perfect for you in these excruciatingly hot summer days.

Prince and Spring KCup Coffee #DailyGoodieBox

Included in this month’s Daily Goodie Box is Prince & Springs Kcups. Three different roasts. I love coffee. I drink a cup every morning to get me going. Lately, I’ve really been into dark roasts. I was a little bummed when I saw that the top of the French Roast was squished and open. So sadly, I was not able to sample that one.

So I started with the Columbian Roast and it was nice. Not as strong as I like but a perfect roast for an afternoon coffee, which is when I enjoyed it. It mixed well with my cream and sugar. I would definitely drink this again.

Next, I enjoyed the breakfast blend. Again, nice taste. I just prefer stronger and darker. I would recommend these though. Good taste. I didn’t have any bad after tastes either.

Here is another goodie from the Daily Goodie Box. Pickle Ice. If you like pickles, this is definitely for you! The package says you can freeze it or not. I chose to freeze it, so it’s like one of those flavor aid frozen push pop things.

This is the first time I had tried frozen pickle juice. It was oddly refreshing. It’s a really hot day here in St. Louis today and when I came back Into the house, I thought this is the perfect time to try the Pickle Ice.

Pickle Ice is supposed to replenish your electrolytes and help with dehydration. While it took, several bites to get used to the seriously savory frozen treat, I kept going back for more.

It’s worth a try if your a pickle fan!

@YumButter Espresso Peanut Butter #DailyGoodieBox

This was one of the products I was looking forward to the most from June’s Daily Goodie Box. I love peanut butter and I love coffee.

This was awesome. I instantly decided I was going to make cookies with this, as soon as I could. My four year old tasted it too, and wanted more and more. I had to tell him no, because Mommy wants to make cookies with the rest of this. But he could help me bake them when it’s time.

I love coconut water, so I was thrilled when I saw this was going to be included in June’s Daily Goodie Box.

Amy & Brian’s doesn’t disappoint. It is a hot day here in St. Louis. So it was the perfect day to see just how refreshing this can of coconut water would be.

It is DELICIOUS. One ingredient: Coconut Water. Plus, it’s a great source of potassium. I would definitely buy this in the future (if it’s easy to find).

#HaloTop Black Cherry was a big hit!

Have you tried Halo Top Black Cherry yet? I’d definitely give it a 4 out of 5. This was a big hit in our house.

We have been making our way through each Halo Top flavor. This one was the hubby’s choice. And I have to say it was a great choice!

I’m not typically a cherry fan but this was amazing. My biggest problem with Cherry is the “fake” cherry flavor, but this… this was an ice cream that I couldn’t put down.

Delicious real bits of cherry just tasted so perfect. My first instinct is to add a scoop or two of this along side a slice of chocolate cake. If I ever pair the two, I’ll fill you in.

Halo Top: Peanut Butter Cup

Just tried Halo Top for the first time and this was our first flavor. It was absolutely delicious. I heard a lot of people say that the place like a Reese’s peanut butter cup, we didn’t feel that way but it was still tasty.

The little specs of peanut butter just make it. You can’t tell that this isn’t traditional ice cream. If you like peanut butter, this is definitely one you should try. Highly recommend.

(I’ll add pictures when we buy another pint. We ate it before I thought to take pictures… We were that excited!)

If you aren’t familiar with Halo-Top, it’s “healthy” ice cream. Low-calorie, high-protein, and low-sugar frozen deliciousness.

Halo Top: Oatmeal Cookie

Oatmeal Cookie was way better than what I thought. You’re instantly hit with a cinnamon taste and then you get the oats. After a few bites, I already knew this would be perfect on top of Apple Pie. Or if you want to make a dessert much healthier… think of a crumble or cobbler. Take that fruit but ditch the crumble or cobbler… and add a scoop or two of this.
