When I was a kid, my mom had tried this simple creamy dip at someone’s house and couldn’t believe how easy it was to make. From that day on, we have been making Cream Cheese Salsa Dip for most family gatherings.
It only has 2 ingredients for the dip, 3 if you include the chips. Cream cheese and salsa. That’s it. I believe mom just used a spoon to mix but I use my hand mixer. My hands hurt and it’s hard for me to grip something for long periods of time. The hand mixer works very well.

When done mixing, you can eat it right away or place in the fridge for a while. It will last for a few days, in the fridge. Be sure to cover.

Our favorite way to enjoy the dip is with chips, Tostitos Bite Size or Tostitos Scoops. But you can add to so many things. On top of grilled chicken, dip with veggies, crackers…
My husband loves this dip so much, it is now referred to as “Steve Dip” in the family, but to those outside of our family… here is Cream Cheese Salsa Dip. Hope you enjoy!

Cream Cheese Salsa Dip
Ingredients:
8 oz, cream cheese (softened)
1/4 – 1/2 c Salsa
Dirctions:
In a small microwave safe bowl, add cream cheese. Heat for 15-20 seconds.
Remove. Use hand mixer to blend the cream cheese and make sure it is nice and smooth.
Gently (because it will splash), add the salsa. Mix until well combined.
Enjoy right away or cover and place in fridge for an hour or more.
