Who gets excited about trying new cereal? I do! I’m sure that sounds sad to some of you. But with all of the changes I am making to may diet, I am hoping I will find some new delicious foods to add to my grocery list.
Oatmeal is supposed to be great for you, especially the fiber benefits. Quaker was one of the first brands that popped into my head. And after researching healthy cereals, I decided on my first two new cereals. I love cereal. I eat it at all times of the day.
My local grocery store carried only one of the cereals, but I found both on Amazon for a great price. And as I was typing this, the delivery truck arrived and my cereal is here! Time to test them out.
To start, I am a huge brown sugar fan. Love it! After trying this cereal, I am pleasantly surprised at how delicious this Brown Sugar flavor is. At first, I wasn’t sure if it was going to have enough sweetness but it was perfect. The squares fill up with milk, which really gives you that oatmeal taste. I will definitely buy this one again.
I had tried the Brown Sugar flavor first, and then the next day I wanted to try the Honey Nut. The Honey Nut is definitely sweeter than the Brown Sugar. You really get the honey with each bite. And as time ticks by, the milk only seemed to enhance the honey. I had my husband try this one and he LOVED it! He has enjoyed a couple of bowls already. The honey nut will absolutely be going on our grocery list, as well.
