@Folgers 1850 may be my new favorite coffee. Just tried my first cup, and wish I had another for the morning #coffee

For a while now, I’ve been searching for another dark roast coffee that I love as much as the Starbucks Sumatra. Until today, I had not found that coffee. I’ve had a k cup sample of this Folgers 1850 in my kcup drawer for a while and finally decided to make it. I didn’t feel like making a whole pot or even more than just a cup. It was one of those 8pm coffee cravings. Ever get those? Well, I am so glad I did. I don’t think I had realized that Folgers 1850 was a dark roast, otherwise I would have tried it sooner.

I’m a cream and sugar gal, so when I stirred up my cup of Joe, it smelled perfect. I couldn’t wait to take my first sip. When it cooled down and was ready, so was I. Damn! I may like this coffee MORE than the Sumatra I drink every day. It seemed a tad less bitter, and a bit smoother. I truly can not believe how much I love this coffee. Just wish I had more for the morning and to share with my husband. He loves Sumatra as well, but just drinks it black. I bet he would really enjoy Folgers 1850 as much as I did.
