I am unfamiliar with a lot of vegan foods, but am always open to trying new products. This month, Daily Goodie Box included a package of Nutritional Yeast, which serves as a Vegan “Cheese”.
The suggestions are to sprinkle on hot popcorn or garlic bread.
To mix into juices or smoothies.
To use as a seasoning for salads, dips, sauces, casseroles and more.
I am not quite sure exactly what I want to try it with first. So I just dipped my finger in for a little taste. It really does have a nutty, cheesy type flavor. It wasn’t bad at all. I think I may try it on popcorn first. I love cheese popcorn anyway, so it seems like an easy place to start.
