Michele’s Granola – Grab-and-Go Snack Size Original Granola

I was really excited when I opened up my Daily Goodie Box, and there was some granola. My family LOVES granola. Michele’s Granola is absolutely delicious. The granola was easy to eat, not super hard and crunchy, and incredibly flavorful. I just poured it into a little bowl for the family to try and it was a big hit. My five year old was pretty sad when he realized that it was gone. We will definitely have to try and find some of this granola to keep stocked in the pantry. Do yourself a favor and try this granola! YUM!

Kika’s Treats – Salted Crunchy Caramels

This month, Daily Goodie Box included these delightful little treats from Kika’s Treats. Salted Crunchy Caramels. It is dark chocolate covered palm sugar caramels with crunch rice, and salt sprinkled on top. Oh my, did I enjoy this. The more I continued to chew, the better it tasted. The sample I received had 3 pieces in it. One for me, one for the hubby and one for my son. I wish I would have kept them all to myself, because they were so tasty. I am really interested to see and try other treats from Kika’s Treats .

Prince & Spring – Organic Applesauce Pouches

We are all about convenient snacks here in our house. We have a five year old and  sometimes we are on-the-go and need a quick bite. I was thrilled when I received a pouch of Prince & Spring Organic Applesauce in this month’s Daily Goodie Box. My son has really been into the applesauce pouches lately and this came at the perfect time.

One taste and he was hooked. He squeezed that thing until there was nothing left inside. I would say this was a BIG hit. I tried it myself and it was delicious. It wasn’t terribly sweet, but I find that to be a good thing. I would definitely buy Prince & Spring Organic Applesauce pouches again.

PiperWai – Natural Deodorant Stick

When it comes to deodorant / antiperspirant, I typically go for the powder fresh stick. I haven’t strayed much from that since I started wearing deodorant. I have seen so many different kinds of deodorants out there these days, especially “Activated Charcoal”. I don’t know much about it at all, so I am new to this experience.

Daily Goodie Box included a sample of PiperWai in this month’s box. It’s Natural, aluminum-free, gender neutral, essential oils scent for sensitive skin. The activated charcoal is supposed to neutralize the odor and absorb the moisture.

After I got out of the shower this morning, I decided to give it a try. On the left side, I used PiperWai and on the right, I used my normal deodorant. Luckily, it’s a warm day here in STL, and I’ll be able to put it to the test.

Initial Application:
PiperWai – Activated Charcoal – Woodsy, kind of minty, menthol scent (Left)
My Normal Brand – Powder Fresh Scent – (Right)

After 2 Hours – working around the house, outside while sweating a little
PiperWai – still smells the same when applied
My Normal Brand – still smells the same when applied

After 8 hours,
PiperWai – still smells the same when applied
My Normal Brand – smells close to the same as when applied

I have to say, I really liked this deodorant more than I thought I would. It absolutely absorbed the moisture AND neutralized the odor. This might be a good example of “Don’t just a book by its cover”. I have already told a couple of people about it. It’s definitely worth a try.

If you have been following me for a while, you know that I am not an adventurous tea drinker. I am more of a sweet tea or black tea gal. My husband, is the one that loves all the different flavors of tea. I haven’t been able to try all of these yet, but I absolutely love the variety pack from Cusa Tea that Daily Goodie Box included this month. And the fact that it is instant, is such an awesome feature.

Check out the variety you receive with this pack! There is a little bit of everything. The small pouches lend itself to popping a couple in your purse, bag, pockets. Spruce up some water at a restaurant.

Goddess Garden – Facial SPF30 Natural Sunscreen Lotion

The summer season is starting, at least here in St. Louis. Yesterday, we were in the nineties with a lot of sun. It’s pretty warm out there today, too. So now it’s time to stock up on Sunscreen. Especially for the little ones.  Daily Goodie Box included a sample of Goddess Garden Facial SPF30 Natural Sunscreen.

For me, natural products are hit & miss. This one was a little bit of a miss. It was kind of runny and grainy. Plus, it smelled a bit like a medicinal cream with eucalyptus. I may pass this product on to someone else and see if they have a different experience.
