This past weekend, we stopped by Casa Mia Mexican Kitchen in St. Charles. I had read something about it a month or so ago, and we were intrigued when we read that they served Street Tacos. We are a big taco family.
It was a very cute, open atmosphere. The menu looked amazing. We didn’t know where to start, so we asked our waitress. She said that the people come back because of the apps, street tacos and burritos. So that was a good place for us to start tasting.
Both dips were good. The salsa had a lot of flavor, but not spicy. Our four year old was a big fan. The Queso Blanco had more of a kick, but again, not spicy. Really good queso. It seemed thin, but that didn’t seem to matter at all.
We also tried some of the street tacos. You get two per order. So we went with the Carnitas & Chorizo. One of each for me, and one of each for the hubby. My favorite was the Carnitas and his was the Chorizo. And as far as the sauces you see pictured with the tacos, we both agreed that we liked the green.
We decided to split the Chicken Chimi Dinner. This came with 2 chimichangas and beans & rice on the side. The chicken was perfect. This plate just really did it for us. The beans and rice were also quite tasty.
My husband was super excited when he saw they served Mexican Coca Cola. It just tastes so much better. Big fan! Plus, they have a nice kids menu! Our son ordered the Quesadilla and really enjoyed it.
