I am a big fan of appetizers. I always have been. Often, I choose an appetizer as my dinner when we dine out. With the Ehlers Danlos, I don’t each much at meals. So appetizers have always been appealing.
So for the Golden Globes last night, I wanted to make a bunch of little finger foods for my husband and son to enjoy while we watched the awards show.
So we ended up with the following finger foods. All three frozen foods had a bake temperature of 400 degrees. So that was easy. The times were a little different but that was also easy to manage. It took about 20-25 minutes total. While I waited for the foods to bake, I made some mini grilled cheese sandwiches to go with the other apps.
El Monterey Extra Crunchy Taco Seasoned Beef & Cheese Taquitos : These are delicious. Great flavor. And you can’t eat just one. Way better than we thought they would be.
Hebrew National Beef Franks in a Blanket: I’m not a huge hot dog fan. These are ok. My son loved them. Husband was kind of a fan. I’ll need to try them again. The pastry didn’t seem to bake enough with the time specified.
Banquet Buffalo Chicken Quesadilla: These we’re better than we thought they would be too. Good flavor. We dipped in ranch. Maybe try sour cream next time.
