I have been eating Frito pie for years. When I was little, there was a festival we used to go to that had PepperBellies. It was a bag of Fritos opened up, chili, cheese and onions on Top. It was simple and easy to make and of course, portable.
Lately, Frito Pie has been a popular dish that I’ve seen pop up at other festivals and even fast food restaurants.
Layer in a bowl as follows:
Top with sour cream (optional)
1 can of chili, or homemade chili
