Gather your ingredients…
Mix all ingredients in a bowl until well combined. Form handfuls into burgers or oval shaped patties.
Cook until no longer pink. Set aside, and drain pan of any grease.
Prepare gravy in a bowl. 2 cups hot water, 2 packets of gravy mix. Add Worcestershire and ketchup. Mix.
Put steaks back into pan. Turn on medium heat. Pour gravy liquid over steaks. Stir occasionally until boiling. Reduce heat and simmer for a few minutes until it thickens as you spoon over steaks.
Salisbury Steak
Patties:
2 lb Ground Beef
1/3 cup Bread Crumbs
4 tsp Ketchup
2 tsp Mustard
2 tsp Worcestershire
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Onion Powder
Gravy:
2 packets Brown Gravy Mix
2 c hot water
2 t ketchup
1/2 tsp Worcestershire
Combine all Steak ingredients in a large bowl and massage with your hands until ingredients are incorporated.
Form burger or oval shaped patties.
Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Cook steaks on both sides until no longer pink.
Lower temperature to low.
Whisk together gravy mix and water until well blended.
Whisk in ketchup and Worcestershire and pour over steaks in skillet.
Allow to simmer until gravy warms and thickens.
