Mashed Potatoes
3 Large Russet Potatoes
Butter
Milk
Salt & Pepper
Scrub the potatoes and clean off any dirt. Cut into cubes. And put in bowl
Add cold water to bowl to cover potatoes. Set aside for 30 mins.
Drain and rinse potatoes.
Add to large pot.
Cover potatoes with water and add salt. Heat until boiling. Boil for 15 minutes or until you and press a fork through a cube easily.
Drain into colander and return to pot. Add 2-3 tablespoons of butter. Add more, if desired. Add 1/4 to 1/3 cup milk. Add salt to taste.
Mix until well combined. Taste. Adjust milk and butter to your liking. I use an electric mixer because my hands tire and cramp easily. This saves a lot of strength.
